The Challenge

This innovative international Virtual Network Operator recognised that it needed an objective assessment of its operational readiness, prior to a major investment and commitment to a rolling full-scale market launch to global territories.

Our Approach

We designed a project comprising of four work-streams to review the business readiness of the sales and service operations capability, BSS functionality, Network Topology and customer facing business processes. This encompassed reviews of

  • end to end customer facing processes
  • assessing the Sales, Customer and Subscriber Management platforms for maturity against launch requirements.
  • This was complemented by creating an operating model framework to set the operational processes in an end-to-end context
  • documentation was also created to capture the existing mobile network topology.

The Outcome

By undertaking the review, out client was able to secure funding for international roll out. Remedial actions were identified and prioritised, and steps taken to adapt the roll-out plans to reduce risk. Additionally, our client secured valuable operational intellectual property that strengthened its ability to engage investors, partners and suppliers.
